Sofia Softas-Nall is a therapist in Scottsdale AZ and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) who brings extensive experience supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, chronic health conditions, pain management, trauma, and LGBTQIA+ concerns. Over the years, Sofia has worked in hospitals, clinics, integrated healthcare settings, and community mental health centers. Furthermore, she has served in university psychological services, cancer rehabilitation programs, and disability support agencies. As a result, this varied experience gives her a broad and adaptable clinical perspective.

She holds two advanced degrees:

• Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling – University of Northern Colorado
• Master of Science (MS) in Psychological Science – University College Dublin, Ireland

Notably, her clinical internship at Banner Health North Colorado Family Medicine Residency Program provided specialized training in integrated behavioral healthcare. Consequently, she is well-equipped to collaborate within medical and therapeutic teams alike.

Cultural Sensitivity & Multicultural Counseling

Equally important, Sofia is proud of her Greek-American heritage and passionate about multicultural counseling. In particular, she integrates cultural identity into every session, ensuring clients from all backgrounds feel seen, heard, and supported.

Outside the Office

Outside the therapy room, Sofia leads a fulfilling and active life.

Beyond her clinical work, Sofia enjoys writing music, singing, hiking, and playing guitar. Additionally, she is a former college basketball player who continues to stay active. Most importantly, she values time spent with her family and her beloved dog, Hiccup.

Collaborating with Pathways Counseling Services

In collaboration with Inspire Counseling and Wellness Center, the sister organization to Pathways Counseling Services, Sofia Softas-Nall provides clients with access to expanded resources and perspectives. While she primarily sees clients through Inspire, she also consults and occasionally provides services for Pathways. As a result, this partnership enhances client care through access to her wide-ranging expertise.
