What our clients say

There are times when we all need a tune up in life or maybe a transformation. We all think we can get over the challenges we have “on our own.” And what I found is that’s just not healthy nor true. - the Pathways leadership team provides the real care without judgement, with clear listening, and a game plan for a purpose I driven life. Whatever you are going through, trust this team to be your trusted advisors. I do, and they are making a difference in my life. How about you?

What our clients say

Our family has had the best experience at Pathways Counseling Services. My sister is like a different person in a great way! She no longer struggles from the crippling anxiety and OCD that she's had since we were kids. She did EMDR and Exposure and Response Prevention with her therapist and it's like a miracle!

What our clients say

Stephanie is a wonderful and compassionate counselor. She has a gentle approach but is truthful and real. She has helped me more than any other therapist I've ever had and I've had quite a few. I can't say enough about her and Pathways Counseling Services

What our clients say

I love Pathways! The tools I get help guide me in a good direction. I always leave with healthier perspectives. My family is also able to better understand what I am going through. I can’t recommend this place enough.

What should I expect when I come for my sessions?

Prior to your first session, you will fill out some general information. We will send you a link to complete the form(s) prior to your first session.

During your initial appointment, we will review parts of your history and discuss the reasons you are seeking counseling, along with the goals you hope to achieve.

How soon should I see results from the counseling sessions?

Most patients come in for weekly appointments. As you are feeling better, you can cut back on the frequency of the sessions so you have more time to practice what you are learning.

Initial sessions are 75 minutes ongoing sessions may be 45-75 minutes or longer depending on need.

Patients who work with us report improvements in a few sessions. More difficult issues may take longer. People come to therapy for different reasons but universally people don’t initiate counseling unless they are in some type of emotional pain.

Our attitude is to try to make every session count.

        Is what I say confidential?

All client-therapist conversations are private and confidential. In those rare exceptions when the safety of a client or other is at risk disclosure of confidential client-therapist information takes place.
